SWEET, BLUE, BOHEMIAN

I love it when a kids, in this case a kindergartener, claims their creative independence. This girl was over her bubblegum pink room and had a specific color palette in mind - mint and navy. She was willing to give up her huge room to move into a smaller one as long as she was able to make it her own. Now, how can you not give her that creative freedom. I can tell she's going to be an awesome free spirit and I love it. I wanted to add another color to her mint and navy to create a full palette. And think coral is the perfect not pink, playful color. I was mindful to choose pieces that will grow with her as well as items that can easily be changed out...aka no minty painted walls. :)

  1. This post helped me to know about the illusion of control. I think it is the tendency for people to overrate their ability to control different events. It occurs when someone feels a sense of control over outcomes that they demonstrably do not influencejogos friv online
